We all want to get dressed! The hottest dresses the New Year will bring
In a year we barely left our homes, influencers and designers put their effort into making "stay at home" look chic; with puffy dresses and cozy knitwear, dresses were a big hit in 2020.
Gathered from many Spring & Summer '21 shows, it is a fact that dresses will save yet another year in the form of many silhouettes and prints. Here's to hoping 2021 gives us something to dress up for.
1. One thing is for sure, Slinky Dresses are here to stay. Since Ottolinger's viral strappy dress came into the picture we've seen a heightened amount of G-string-bralette-showing-straps-everywhere dresses and we're here for it.

2. This one should not come as a surprise to any of us, with WFM in full swing during this last year, and not being too sure of where this year will take us, Knitwear is easily one of the most predictable trends for 2021, knitwear we're proud of wearing to the grocery store, at least. Thank you Eckhaus Latta.

3. One thing that's being said a lot is that people now understand why the 20's were full of sparkles and partying, that brings us to Sequins, the Paco Rabanne staple that everyone caught on with for the post-pandemic partying.

4. A sleek Open Back moment always does the trick for a sexy but discreet look, this year Givenchy brought it to a different level with open backs and open elbows. That's a situation I'd personally like to be in, specially in the yellow maxi dress from this Spring/Summer season.

7. What would we do without the casual dress? That one we just slip on and go on a date with. The timeless, every-flattering shape has come a long way, which is why it is now called the Reimagined Slip (I believe I might've coined this term a couple of minutes ago).
